This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used and shared when you use or purchase something from leonessa.at (the “Site”).

Content of the newsletter
The information you provide will be used to stay in touch with you and to send you updates and marketing information to the email address you provided. This includes information about news in the range, information about reviews of our products, promotions and invitations to topic-related events.
Confirmation of registration and documentation (double opt-in)
To ensure that no unauthorized person can register for the newsletter using your email address, you will receive an automatically generated email after registration in which you can confirm your registration. In order to be able to provide proof of your registration in a legally compliant manner, your IP address as well as the date and time of registration will be stored (for more information see “Tracking and Evaluation”).
Data / optional information when registering
To register for the newsletter, you only need to provide your email address. Additional data is optional and is used to adapt the content sent, for example in relation to stated interests, and to personalize the newsletter if necessary.

All data collected during registration, shipping and receipt is stored on Brevo servers in the EU. The IP address (for documentation of the confirmation, see point Tracking and Evaluation), times of use, localization (for determining the language and time zone) and device information (desktop or mobile) as well as reading and usage behavior (for more information under Tracking) are stored and evaluation). This data is used by both Brevo and L. Derksen & and Co. GmbH. used to improve the services and optimize the content (e.g. personalization by adapting the topics of the newsletter for different groups of recipients, but also technical optimization e.g. optimization for users of mobile devices). However, Brevo does not send information directly to stored email addresses and does not transmit collected data to third parties.
In addition, there is a data protection agreement with Brevo. This is a contract in which Brevo undertakes to protect our users' data, to process it on our behalf in accordance with data protection regulations and, in particular, not to pass it on to third parties.
Tracking and evaluation
When you receive a newsletter, user information is determined and stored using tracking technologies. This includes information about whether a newsletter is opened, what type of device and browser is used, where and at what time the newsletter is opened (determination based on the IP address) and which links are clicked. This information is used to adapt content based on reading behavior and to improve the services (e.g. optimized view for mobile devices). However, if data is used for any evaluations, this happens in the form of group evaluations (e.g. how many users of a distribution list have opened a newsletter) and not in relation to individual users (which person has opened the newsletter), because that is not the aim to determine and evaluate the user behavior of individual users.
The IP address under which the entry took place will be stored as proof of your registration. However, the IP address is not used for any other purposes beyond this.
Content on Brevo's pages
If you have display problems, you can access the newsletter in your browser. You will be redirected to a Brevo page. You also have the option of updating your data at any time (you will find a link to update the data at the end of each newsletter). The update also takes place on a Brevo website. If personal data is collected and processed on these pages by Brevo itself (e.g. cookies) or tracking tools (e.g. Google Analytics), we have no influence on this. Updating data and storage period
You have the option to update your data at any time (you will find a link to update the data at the end of each newsletter). The data will be stored as long as the newsletter subscription is active.
Unsubscribe
You have the option to unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by sending an email to shopping@leonessa.at or using the cancellation link (at the end of each newsletter).
4.) TRANSFER OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
We share your personal information with third parties who assist us in using your personal information as described above. We also use Google Analytics to understand how our customers use the website. Further information on how Google uses your personal data

5.) PAYPAL
The person responsible for processing has integrated PayPal components on this website. PayPal is an online payment service provider. Payments are processed via so-called PayPal accounts, which represent virtual private or business accounts.
